Musical Dice -- Girls' And Guys' Names In Song Titles

Welcome to the music section of my Musical Dice website! For you music trivia enthusiasts, and those who love to learn about the stories behind the music, you've come to the right place! I love sharing my knowledge of music trivia, so that's why I created this section.

Many times, the most memorable songs are those that have girls' names in the titles or those that have guys' names in the titles. Such songs are the subject of today's topic.

I have the girl's names by themselves in one list, then the guys' names in another list, and a third list for those titles that have both in the title. Only those that hit the top ten will be mentiones here. If I missed any, e-mail me at musicaldice323@gmail.com

Before I conclude this article, I feel it's only fair to mention a few girls' song titles and guys' song titles that failed to hit the top ten, but have become classics. For the girls, those honorable mentions include "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles (#11 in 1966), "Misty" by Johnny Mathis (#12 in 1959), and "Delilah" by Tom Jones (#15 in 1968). For the guys, the honorable mentions include "Alfie" by Dionne Warwick (#15 in 1967), "Fernando" by ABBA (#13 in 1976), and "Jesse" by Carly Simon (#11 in 1980).
