Two sources of inspiration were at play when I came up with this strategy (or set of strategies). One was Jacob from Wager Me This, talking about the importance of getting out of the hand, regressing the bets down to the point that you are making a profit as soon as possible. Another source of inspiration was a recent Hawaii Craps Shooters video live at either the Fremont or Palace Station, where Bryan was doing a 132 inside in his Split The Sisters strategy. I thought of investing the same $132, concentrating on the 6 and 8 for 66 each, then when one of them hits, regress the bets down to 66 inside, profiting $11 after that first hit, and just going there. There was the Route 66 strategy.

     Then I realized that the dollar amount wasn't much different than that of the 4X strategy, where at that level, it would be $72 on the 6 and 8 instead of $66. But instead of reducing down to half the bets on 6 and 8, as in the 4X strategy, you can also reduce down to 66 inside, netting a profit of $18 after one hit. Of course, this strategy can be scaled up or down for any minimum bet level, placing 4 times the minimum 6 and 8 bets to start, then reducing down to the minumum bets on all four inside numbers. This strategy, I decided to call the 4X Reductio strategy (yes, without the n--this is a reference to a philosophy term I learned in college).

     Another variation of this strategy you may want to try is where you have enough so that when you regress, you have enough to go all the way across with your regression bets. In this case, you'd need about 5 times the minimum 6 and 8 bets to make enough on that one hit to accomplish this, and retain a profit. This variation, I call the 5X Reductio strategy.

     Whichever way you decide to play this strategy, the concept is the same--one hit on the 6 or the 8, and regressing down to inside or acrpss bets, betting enough initially on the 6 and 8, enough for you to realize a profit upon regression.

     Of course, the big enemy of this strategy, too, is the early seven-out, before you're able to get your one hit. But the good thing is, once you get that one hit, you're already out of the hand, making a profit, and you can take and press your numbers however you please, increasing your profits on subsequent rolls of the dice.

     As with any craps strategy, it is not guaranteed to win every time. But it can provide a relatively quick way to get out of the hand, and into the profits.
